Google Rolled Out Penguin 2.1 Update

Google is getting smarter day by day and creating headaches for spammers. SEO is completely changed since the evolution of Google’s Panda and Penguin Algorithm and we have already discussed it earlier. However Google claims that if your content is unique and original then you will be always benefited from these updates but we have already seen many cases in which websites stuffed with full of keywords were ranking higher. Many innocent bloggers reported major traffic drop from Penguin 2.0 and even some left Blogging. Even after launch of Penguin 2.1 update we found many people reporting huge decrease in their website’s traffic. So we can not stop big giant Google but we can optimize our blog or website according to its guidelines as simple as that. This is a minor update but if you got hit by this update then there are simple instructions to recover from it.
  • Avoid Thin or Duplicate content
  • Never hide text
  • Never Practice Cloaking
  • Avoid keyword stuffing
  • Avoid paid links
  • Keep updating Blog or Website’s content regularly
  • Enhance the Readability
  • Appropriate use of Headings
  • Never hesitate to link to good sites or source
